To celebrate the 25-years anniversary edition of Amsterdam Museum Night, we launched the Collector’s Edition campaign. For a quarter of a century, Museum Night has brought together countless museums and collections for one unforgettable night, becoming a collection of collections itself.

Started in 1999, we drew inspiration from the nostalgic era of Flippos, Tamagotchis, and collectible toys and cards. Letting the campaign tap into the joy of collecting — not for rarity or value, but for meaning.

Back then, you didn’t need a huge stash to be a collector — just a few treasured items and the memories attached to them. Today, that same spirit lives on. During Amsterdam Museum Night, visitors collect moments, experiences, and memories instead. No expertise required, just curiosity.

The Collector’s Edition reframes collecting as something deeply personal: the stories you gather, the art you encounter, and the memories you take home from one magical night.
