In short

The Call is a portrait of legendary car designer Peter Schreyer. Directed by Johan Kramer and edited by Camille Boumans, we animated and designed this dada-inspired short about the worldwide Chief Design Officer of the Hyundai Motor Group – aka the automobile mastermind.

Taking inspiration from the rich universe of dada, we used original woodblock typography and animated original sketches from Peter’s sketchbook to visualize the designer’s career. A career that started somewhere in Austria, where Peter Schreyer received the call that changed his life.
